Among the main aims of CIBERDEM is that of encouraging biomedical research with great added value for the health and production system: biomedical research which will yield tangible benefits for our society.

In order to make these benefits more widely known, research requires systematic and continuous evaluation which can act as an indicator of the level of excellence achieved and identify the results obtained as well as their possible impact on society. In keeping with this key principle, CIBERDEM constantly monitors the scientific results of the research carried out by its groups which is funded by both public and private resources. These results are collated and presented in the Annual Reports, and also in the Publications published by the research groups.
