Which are the COMP Fellowship conditions?

COMP fellowships will have a duration of 6 to 12 months. The total number of awarded fellowships will vary depending on the applications received and their duration.

Fellow COMP researchers will mantain their current CIBERDEM contracts along the duration of the fellowship and will also receive mobility and travel allowances, which will be individually determined for each applicant according to the financial guidelines of the Marie Curie Actions of FP7 (roughly 6000 to 9600 €/year and 250 to 1500 €/year respectively). In addition, the fellowship will provide funding for research costs up to 7200€.

They will follow the typical working conditions of their respective hosting institutions, in terms of hours and annual leave. Regarding healthcare coverage, CIBERDEM will determine if there is a bilateral agreement between the social security systems of Spain and that of the destination country (such as the one that exists within European Community countries) that will provide coverage abroad. Otherwise CIBERDEM will seek and provide alternative solution.

Please note that all the candidates must either be in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience at the corresponding deadline for submission of proposals.
